Located in the picturesque neighborhood of Piedmont, CA, this Spanish Revival Estate stands as a testament to an era bygone. Built in 1927, the historic estate is replete with period-specific architectural details that transport you back in time. Our company was entrusted with the restoration and modernization of the northern wing of this elegant property. The scope included a deft overhaul of the primary bedroom, bathrooms, and closet.

The guiding principle behind this project was to preserve the historical integrity of the estate while infusing contemporary comforts and amenities. The design harmonizes traditional Spanish Revival architectural elements with modern layouts and materials, maintaining a cohesive and timeless character.

The primary bedroom was reimagined to exude tranquility and grace, with subtle touches reminiscent of the Spanish Revival style. In the bathrooms, a closet was strategically reconfigured to maximize storage while ensuring an uncluttered look. The main bathroom now boasts a spacious walk-in shower and a luxurious free-standing tub, offering a sanctuary of relaxation.

One of the standout features of this restoration was the painstaking attention to detail in matching new materials with the old. To preserve the original aesthetic, solid stone trim was carved to mirror the profile found throughout the home, blending seamlessly with the existing architecture. The interiors were graced with custom mirror work reflecting the Spanish Revival style, and the use of period-appropriate fixtures and fittings brought authenticity to the space.
